"Connections" Young Adults

"I graduated high school... now what?"
"What career is best for me?"
"Is he the spouse God has for me?"
"How does God want to use me to minister to those around me in my world?"

Your graduation ceremony from high school was called a 'commencement' for a reason.  You thought you were done, but found out quickly you were just getting started!  The questions above and more can affect the rest of your life in a huge way and are better answered by hearing Godly wisdom and following that still peace inside of you.  If you are looking for answers to any questions like these, this group may be just what you need.

Connect and Grow

Kingdom connections are such a huge key to capturing God's vision for your life.  There are so many things going on and decisions you need to make through those college years and your twenties.  It is so good to talk to others who have been there and done that.  Whether it is a question about your career, marriage, being a new parent, and so much more, seeing how others have navigated that path and heard God's voice leading them is so reassuring.  Come connect with us!

God created us to be here for each other.  As a member of the Body of Christ, you need the other parts of the body around you.  This is one of the main thrusts of Connections.  Whether it is making a decision about your spouse or having that close friend who you can go to for Godly advice when times are tough, we are here for each other.  You will benefit from being around other Christ-followers and we definitely need what you bring to the table!

"You can be anything you want to be in life."  Does that sound familiar?  While that might hold some truth, it would be better to find what God created you and gifted you to do and then be what He created you to be.  When you do that, you will certainly head towards even greater worth and satisfaction.  While you are choosing a career, make sure you do it God's way.  Get into His Word and spend time in prayer and fellowship with others to see who you have been created to be!  We are here for you on that journey.

You may say to yourself, "There's no way I'm supposed to be a minister."  Well, actually you are!  The Greek word in the bible for ministry actually just means "to serve".  We are all called to be ministers of the gospel.  You may not ever be a pastor, an apostle, or an evangelist, but you are most definitely called to serve.  The talents and gifts the Lord has placed in your life are there for you to pour into other people.  Connections is here to help you find what that is and encourage you as you learn to pull those gifts out of you and into your world.  Come grow with us as we make a difference together!
